These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the websites, waitlists, reservation pages, purchase flows, and related services operated by Hi Bonsai (“Hi Bonsai”, “we”, “us”) that link to these Terms (together, the “Services”). By using the Services or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) and able to form a binding contract. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Services and any purchase complies with applicable laws in your location.
We sell physical products, including the Hi Bonsai Smart Bonsai Station and related bonsai offerings (together, “Products”). Product images, specifications, and availability on the Services are for general information. We may update descriptions, packaging, or included items before shipment where reasonable.
Living plants and natural materials can vary in appearance. Tree selection for certain configurations may be confirmed with you after checkout, as described on the relevant order page.
Shipping timeframes shown on the Services are estimates, not guarantees. Risk of loss and title for Products generally pass to you upon delivery to the carrier, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
You are responsible for providing an accurate shipping address. We are not responsible for delays or failed delivery caused by incorrect information, customs processes, or events outside our reasonable control.
Return and refund rights depend on the policy stated at checkout or in order communications (for example, a stated return window or warranty). Unless required by law or expressly stated otherwise in writing, custom or personalized items and perishable living goods may have limited return rights once shipped.
To request a return, refund, or cancellation, contact hello@hibons.ai with your order details. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method where possible.
Any product warranty (including extended warranty offers) is described on the Services or in materials provided with your order. Warranty terms may require registration or other steps. This section does not limit rights you have under mandatory consumer protection laws.

The Services, branding, content, and product designs are owned by Hi Bonsai or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the Services for their intended purpose. No other rights are granted.
The Services may link to or integrate third-party tools (for example, analytics, email, payment, or survey providers). We are not responsible for third-party services. Your use of them is subject to their terms and policies. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle personal data.
The Services and Products are provided “as is” and “as available” to the fullest extent permitted by law. We disclaim warranties not required by law, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Care instructions and educational content on the Services are general guidance only. Growing results depend on many factors outside our control.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hi Bonsai and its affiliates, officers, and suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Services or Products.
Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services or an order will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the relevant order in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars (USD 100), except where law does not allow such limits.
You will defend and indemnify Hi Bonsai against claims arising from your misuse of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of others’ rights, except where caused by our intentional misconduct or negligence.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Material changes may also be communicated where appropriate. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Hi Bonsai’s place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in that jurisdiction will have exclusive venue for disputes, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country give you the right to bring claims in your home courts.
